The ultrasonic cold/heat meter is a high-precision instrument that utilizes ultrasonic waves to measure fluid velocity and temperature to calculate flow rate and heat energy.
Composition: The ultrasonic cold/heat meter typically consists of two main parts: the sensor and the converter. The sensor is responsible for measuring the ultrasonic wave propagation time and temperature in the fluid, while the converter converts these measurements into readable flow rate and heat energy data.
Working Principle: The meter operates based on the principle that the speed of ultrasonic waves propagating in a fluid is affected by both temperature and flow velocity. By measuring the time difference between ultrasonic waves propagating downstream and upstream in the fluid, along with the fluid temperature, the fluid velocity and flow rate can be calculated. Combining this with the fluid temperature, the heat energy exchanged in the system can be obtained using a heat calculation formula.
